There was this guy in my logo design class that always complained about how his last name was the same name as a corporation (Gillette), and that he could never have a logo with his last name because of it.
Every time we did personal branding he would complain about it. Often at length. Often to me. He always framed it as this big struggle he was going through alone, and people really didn’t understand how hard it was to have the same last name as a corporation.
He always forgot that I had the same problem.
